Radka Kovarikova

producer, casting, choreography

In 2013, she became an executive at WORLD ON ICE and a producer of the musical on ice Cinderella. World champion in the category of sports pairs (1995) and professional world champion (1995 and 1997), Olympian (Albertville Winter Olympics, Lillehammer Winter Olympics). She was the first figure skater in the world to play the main role of Nastya in the fairy tale musical on ice Mrazík and the first to play Juliet in the romantic musical on ice Romeo and Juliet. She has collaborated with world-renowned coaches and choreographers Irina Rodnina, Sergey Ponomarenko, Marina Zujevova, Christopher Dean. After completing her long-term professional figure skating career, she has been casting figure skaters for film, advertising, figure skating shows and musicals on ice. Since 2005, she has been collaborating with Intershow productions. In the same year, she significantly participated in the organization of the first European tour of the American figure skating show Champions on Ice. In 2006, she was not only a star on ice, but also a supervisor of the entertainment television show Hviezdy na laďe in Slovakia broadcast by JOJ television, where, as casting director, she simultaneously ensured the complete figure skating casting, choreography and training of the performers of this television show. In 2007, she was the project manager of the Magical Ice Carousel project in Dubai, UAE for the company Majid Al Futaim Holding. In 2008, she participated in the implementation of a presentation show on ice for His Majesty the King of Qatar in Doha, Qatar. She also used her experience in the implementation of the magical musical on ice Cinderella, where she largely participated in the choreography of the chorus numbers and every year ensures the complete figure skating casting, thus creating an international team of performers.

Jindrich Simek

Screenplay and direction

In 1998, he introduced the unique staging form MUSICAL ON ICE, and as its author, screenwriter and director, he and his creative team participated in the realization of these musicals. The fairy-tale musical on ice FRAZÍK (1998), the romantic musical on ice ROMEO AND JULIET (2003) and the magical musical on ice CINDERELLA (2011). He began his professional artistic career in the ballet company of the State Theatre in Ostrava, where he performed a number of main character roles as a ballet soloist. Due to his versatile artistic talent, he also performed as an actor in drama and operetta companies. In the 1970s, he founded the Pantomime Theatre in Ostrava with his fellow actor Jiří Čapka. Later, as a mime, he was a guest of many shows in the Czech Republic and abroad with his solo, comic etudes. He gradually worked his way up to choreography and direction of various theatre genres. As a choreographer and assistant director, he collaborated with a number of leading theater directors and participated in dozens of programs on Czechoslovak Television. In the 1980s, he collaborated as a scriptwriter and director on large revue shows that were shown in Bulgaria, Germany, Belarus and France. Since the beginning of the 1990s, he has been mainly involved in musical creation. In October 2005, he produced and directed the first ever European tour of the most famous American figure skating show Champions on Ice, which was composed exclusively of European, world and Olympic champions. Jindřich Šimek wrote his own script for it called Planet of Champions. The show aroused enormous media and audience interest in many Czech cities. As a scriptwriter and artistic director, he collaborated with Slovak television JOJ. He prepared a series of fourteen live broadcasts of the entertaining family figure skating television show Hviezdy na laďe. For Majid Al Futaim Holding, UAE, he wrote the script and directed the show Magical Ice Carousel, which was presented with great success in thirty performances in the largest and most luxurious shopping center in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, where it was seen by 50 thousand enthusiastic spectators from all over the world. He accepted the offer of the Qtel company from Qatar and, as a scriptwriter and director, realized the Festive Ice Show with his team, which was attended by His Majesty Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani with the royal family and three hundred guests from all over the world. On order for the Chinese company Beijing Wanda Culture Industry Group Co, Ltd, he wrote the theme and script for the ice musical Butterfly Princess.

Petr Malasek

Music

The son of a famous Czech pianist, he graduated from the Prague Conservatory in 1985 with a degree in piano and composition, and from the Faculty of Music of the Academy of Music in 1990 with a degree in composition. In addition to composing classical music (Metamorphoses for symphony orchestra, Concerto for flute and strings, Concerto for piano and big band), he composes music for films (The Mystery of the Puzzle, Out of Hell II, The Face of an Angel), television productions and theatre performances (Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, Howard Katz, Skin of a Dog, Wardrobe, Cabaret, The Three Musketeers, Richard III.) He has collaborated with the outstanding chanson singer Hana Hegerová, with whom he has performed on concert stages almost all over Europe and with whom he has also completed two successful tours of the USA and Canada. As a pianist and composer, he has also collaborated or collaborated with Lucie Bíla, Marta Kubišová, Dagmar Pecková, Eva Urbanová, Karel Gott, Jaroslav Svěcený, and with the musical groups J.A.R., Pražský výběr and Kabát. He also works as a music producer. He is the holder of a number of Gold and Platinum records for the sale of music carriers. As a composer, he often collaborates with foreign clients on global advertising campaigns. He is the author of the music for the magical musical on ice Cinderella and the holder of the Gold Record for the soundtrack from this musical.

Vaclav Kopta

Poet, lyricist and actor. He studied music and drama at the State Conservatory in Prague. As a pianist, he was a member of the Bluesberry and Bossa-nova bands. In recent years, he has been mainly involved in writing song lyrics, but also hosting for television shows. As a lyricist, he participated in the musical Beauty and the Beast, collaborated with Petr Malásek on the musical Edith, the Sparrow from the Suburbs (Josef Kajetán Tyl Theatre Plzeň, Moravian Theatre Olomouc, National Theatre Brno), Lucrezia Borgia (National Theatre Prague) and wrote lyrics for the American musical Donaha! for the Prague Theatre in Vinohrady He is the author of the song lyrics for the magical musical on ice Cinderella and the holder of the Golden Record for the soundtrack to this musical.

Jana Hubler

choreography

Multiple Czechoslovak national team member and former vice-champion of the Czechoslovak Republic in ice dancing. Since 1987, she has lived in Vienna, where she worked as a national team coach for 20 years. In addition to coaching, she is also a choreographer. She has collaborated with the Szene Bunte Wähne theater. As a choreographer, she was part of the artistic team of director Jindřich Šimek in the production of the entertaining family television show Hviezdy na laďe on Slovak television JOJ in 2006. In 2011, as a member of the artistic team, she created the choreography of solo figure skating numbers in the musical on ice Cinderella. As a choreographer, she participates in the preparation of performances and a new tour every year.

Roman Solc

costume designer

He graduated from the Prague Dance Conservatory (1995). From 2001 to 2004 he was a member of the National Theatre Ballet in Prague. As a dancer he was awarded the 2nd Prize at the Competition of Dance Artists of the Czech Republic and Slovakia Brno 97 and nominated for the Thalia Prize 1996 for the role of Mercutio. He has also systematically devoted himself (and continues to devote himself) to the work of a costume designer. He has created costumes for ballets for the National Theatre in Brno and for theatre musical performances in Prague. He created 300 beautiful period costumes for the musical Cinderella on ice.

Petr Hlousek

stage designer

A graduate of Šuřka in Brno (1986-1990) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava under Professor Dušan Kállay (1990-1996, majoring in book illustration), he was mainly known as a graphic designer, the author of a number of logotypes and visual motifs for advertising and cultural and social events. He was able to test his illustration skills in the publication Svět zvířat, for which he created around 160 illustrations, mainly of representatives of the bird kingdom. In 2005, his cooperation with the Municipal Theatre in Brno began By that time, the author's attention had already been focused on the field of scenography and video. He continues to apply his experience as an illustrator and the routine of a graphic designer in the preparation of short film productions such as video clips, documentaries, and advertisements, both in the creation of storyboards and in post-production technologies. In the musical on ice Cinderella, he created a beautiful variable stage and an animated film accompanying the story, which gives the entire show a 3D character.
